By God’s grace, our team led by the Greater Charlotte Chapter has set out for Côte d’Ivoire, partnering with CAPRO in a medical outreach and a youth conference in Abobo. Pray for journeying mercies, health and strength, and lasting fruit from the work.

Healing hands, and hearts turning to Christ
Praise God! The medical outreach with our CAPRO partners is well under way in Abobo. In the first two days, the team attended to 180 people, and 40 gave their lives to Christ.
Day 3 was another wonderful day. The team served 268 patients, 141 went through counseling, and 29 more gave their lives to Christ. New believers received Bibles, 121 tracts were given out, and many went home with new eyeglasses. Care included general medicine, dentistry, eye care, gynecology and pediatrics. We were also glad to have Bro Jimmy Adegoke of the ACF USA National Mission Council join the team that day.

Pelu and Titi Adewale marked 41 years of marriage while serving with the team in Côte d’Ivoire, and the team surprised them with a cake! What a joy to celebrate this milestone together on the mission field. Thank you both for your faithfulness and your example. Please join us in wishing them a happy anniversary and many more blessed years together!

Greetings from the field! The team arrived safely in Abidjan and is hard at work, serving in outreach, taking part in the youth conference alongside our partners, and sharing fellowship with believers here. Thank you for your prayers and support. Here are a few moments from the first days.

ACF Midwest Region Goes Digital

A conference like never before — and a glimpse of where we're all headed.

Our Midwest family just did something remarkable. For the first time in the region's history, their entire 2026 Conference (Madison, WI) ran on one purpose-built digital platform — self check-in with a single "I Have Arrived" tap, a personal portal in every attendee's pocket, live announcements, QR networking, meal tracking, shared photos, and more. Three days, fully managed. Zero paper forms, zero queues.

Their heart behind it says it best: the technology didn't replace the human touch — it amplified it, freeing volunteers to focus on hospitality and giving every attendee a voice and a sense of belonging.

Keren Bassey, MSOD, is a dynamic and engaging facilitator, speaker, writer, and organizational development leader with more than 13 years of experience helping organizations lead meaningful, people-centered transformation. She is passionate about creating and holding spaces where people can build connection, understanding, and co-create solutions — helping individuals and organizations align their values, leadership, and mission.

A lifelong servant-leader within the African Christian Fellowship community, Keren’s family was originally part of the Atlanta chapter and then moved to Maryland, where she grew up as part of the Baltimore chapter. Beyond ACF, Keren serves as the Young Adult Director at her church and is a devoted wife to her husband, George, of 10 years and mother to their two young daughters.

Adiele Nwankwo, Ph.D., is a strategic thought leader and a national program management advisor, with decades of public and private sector experience in infrastructure planning, project development, and management services. He is the Managing Partner of C2G, a small business firm dedicated to helping organizations deploy their resources more strategically to create and manage infrastructure assets that transform communities.

Dr. Adiele is engaged in several volunteer and non-profit initiatives — from chairing a mayoral transportation transition team, to working with local officials and business leaders on innovative transportation funding, to leading capacity-building initiatives across Africa. A member of the Atlanta Chapter, he has had the privilege of serving ACF in various positions. He is married with 4 adult children and 5 grandchildren.
